answers to questions:

1.i would like to make the theme happy holidays because its holiday and i think we can feel the theme in this site. well if people could send it by the next week or 2. but if that's not possible, you can make a 2009 theme. it's new year and everyone will have more time to do banners.

2.well for me, usually people have 1024 x 768(<-not sure if that's correct). so i could suggest the max width would be below 900 or 800. for the height, well you decide guys.

1024x768 sounds reasonable. ;D

isnt 1024x768 a wallpaper size.. hmm.

im just telling the people use that as there resolution now. so the width would not exceed 1024 px. so to give allowance, you can make the width max of 800-900 px. tha'smy suggestion guys. also guys, we can make any themes but we should know what base color we will use. for example here, the base color is black so we need to use darker colors to match banners with the site.
