Simple wonders and the majesty of nature had always brought Dessi peace of mind. As of late she could use it, though the solitude of it all was driving her a little loopy. The quiet, then abrupt sounds of the wild life was always a wonder, and kept her on her toes. What could be out there? Quite possibly adventure or some new world or land? Bah, she's rather enjoy flicking pebbles at the wildlife. But not at the birds, never the birds.
Reaching into the confines of her robes she retrieved a small, white cube. Popping the little bit of happiness into her mouth. Her system jump started, she quickly scaled the nearest tree, perching herself amongst the branches. Her eyes darting about, scanning the ground below for any signs of life. Too bad she never looked up, not noticing the serpent that slowly wound its way down toward her...
"I wounder where the birds have gone."

-Ken grabbed her hand and excited for the upcoming events he knew they would encounter together. He began to run still holding her hand leading her to an entrance to an underground temple he discovered a short time ago. Suddenly they stumbled across Ken's friend Dessi. He smiled for a brief moment until he noticed the serpent hovering above her. He let go of Dawn's hand and got ready to perform a Kido attack raising his hands to point it at the serpent-
Hado 31. Shakkaho!

Ahhh it's gonna eat my brains!
Dessi had felt the snake before actually seeing it. Its cold scaled skin sent shivers down her spine. Even Tori shuddered and screeched in fear. Thankful Ken seemed to be at the right place at the right time. But the sheer shock of it all had Dessi falling out of the tree with less grace then she had intended. groaning as she lay there, still flailing her arms. All at once she was just fine, rolling onto her hands and knees, pushing herself to her feet, fixing up her robes and hair. Her mask was slightly cracked, but she hadn't noticed.
You should never scare a lady like that!
