    Orohime

Post by Xander on Sun Nov 08, 2009 6:15 am

I have a question about Orohime. Why was she kidnapped? I mean, it can't be just because of her powers. It has to be a huge, more important thing, like a huge plot surprise. Was Tite Kubo planning this whole thing out when he create Orihime? Or was it just something he wanted to put in because of future plans? I just want to know. And also, what is going on with her power. When Orihime went after nel, i think, Ichigo tried to stop her, but her powers reflected ichigo, not letting him through. He wondered if her powers had always been like that.

When Noitra kicked child Nel or something. She left Ichigo behind the shield and he tried to stop her. It may have been to protect Yachiru. I just watched it recently so yea. And Aizen has to have a better motive than that. I mean, Aizen is the creator of the Vizards basically and he took the Hogyoku, and he made this whole scheme up, just to lure them to hueco mundo and kidnap orihime and make the kings key. There has to be a different motive leading to the Kings Key. Like, a side effect or something.

And Aizen didn't really kidnap orihime to lure them to Hueco Mundo. He did it because of her power to reject things, distorting time, kinda. He used her for his own gains. He even showed her where the he was hiding the Hogyoku. Also, I noticed this, in his first appearance as Lord Aizen, he was wearing his Sou Reaper kimono, but later on, he is wearing Arrancar like clothing. Lol. He changed a lot. SUPER MAN!!! Good Aizen, Changed to pulled hair back Aizen, then to Arrancar over Coat over soul reaper clothes Aizen, then to complete Arrancar clothing Aizen. Imagine that.

ahh i see... Clothes are magic! ive been wearing the same pants for 3 days staight!

well as a hot blooded male like myself wouldnt you kidnap orihime if you had the chance >: D

    BUT
as i said beforeeee evidence :D
see what aizen says bottom left panel and continue till the next pages:
    http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/314/10/

was all a ploy to get Ryoka away from SS side and in turn splitting their forces in half if they sent SS reneforcements as back up which they did...

So far it seems Orihime was a worthless decoy (with an interesting power) nothing more

we should do this on my forum ^__^ this is kinda fun

I understand where your getting at now. I just think there is a bigger plot that orihime will have a part in. Like, her powers are becoming stronger, remember the rejection thing that Ichigo couldn't break after his battle with Grimmjow and Kenpachi's battle with Noitra?

I always watch the anime. The filler arcs entertain me, especially the recent one. ^_^
She actually blocked an attack from # 4?

Orihime annoys the crap out of me...

But in fairness, she was just bait, as things didn't turn out quit as Aizen expected.

One last thing to consider with the latest Manga release though is that orihime didn't come back with Ichigo, Unohana did. I mean, it's not above Kubo to make her appear out of thin air at a critical point, but honestly at this juncture, it would make no sense to have her involved in the climax. But I swear, if I ever hear, see, read, or even think Kurosaki-kun one more freaking time, I'll run towards the first living thing I see and kill it. lol

    Sorry, I vent at times..lol

But seriously, i don't know if she will play any major role or not, but I would bet my money on no; yes Aizen did say SS recognized her gifted powers, but there are a ton of statements like that in Bleach that build up things that never happen. It's like Tite starts an idea and then just cuts it.

But on the other hand; I am one of those people that think the anime/manga should have ended at the end of the SS arc. As Rukia is rescued, blah blah, Aizen could have been defeated there or perhaps escape, and become the archetypal Villian figure. By that I mean the cause of trouble behind stuff in future movies, which is what I think Bleach should have done after SS; go to movies only.

Now don't get me wrong, i love the espadas a lot. But this whole winter war, Hueco Mundo arc would have been much better if it were made into 1 or 2 movies then dragging it out as long as they have.
