The Minamoto Clan is a Demon clan who's considered noble in Soul Society. They follow direct orders from the spirit king and the spirit king alone. Though oriented with the gotei 13, they are considered a separate organization with there own missions and goals.



History:

The Minamoto clan, is a noble family who reigned over the higher districts of rukongai over the last century, but after the death of the last 14th generation oyabun it all changed. The one who took over was Chiruka, 13th Division captain of gotei 13 at the said time. With much compassion towards the people of rukongai, she knew that land wasnt everything, so she gave them freedom, there land back to them and were very much blessed for there charity.

The Minamoto's are well known for there demon heritage, the 1st Minamoto(Genbu) was a demi-demon, greedy for wealth and power, he ruled reigning terror over the land and was greatly respected for his contributions, but mostly, the Minamoto's are known for there cruel nature. But on the 16th's reign, it all changed. Minamoto Chiruka was adopted into the Minamoto clan for having demon blood run through her veins, for if not, she wouldn't have been qualified in the first place.

The modern Minamoto clan is still well known, but has been branded traitors due to the rebellion of Minamoto chiruka during her 8th Division reign, she oriented her self with pirates and somewhat brought shame to the clan's name them selves, but rebuilding the clan from its downfall, the 17th generation oyabun Minamoto Hikari took over her mothers spot and continued her duties.

Following Ruka's footsteps, she so to it that the great elders could not bring back the wrath Minamoto had spread the last century, the leads them to peace and serenity, the new age of the Minamoto's , oh what do they bring?
