This mission is connected to the phantom arc, but happening a little earlier than the disappearance of souls and shinigami death tolls.

A little side note, incase you missed it, you're not obliged to read the thousand word legend which i hid inside the spoiler, if you wish to do so, go ahead, but it will explain where we are heading. Where heading towards the land that the legend for tells. I know it's a bit spoilerish, but i just want you all to be in-on it, so i made a long legend post instead of trying to explain it over and over.

To summarize the legend. There was a prophet who had 13 disciples who ventured to the sea in search for a prophesized island made of gold (better than eldorado which is only a city) where they should all live abundantly. But when they got there, the island was just an island.

Something which angered one of the disciples. Long story short, he first killed the prophet and hid its body, where the next day he explained how the prophet left them on there own, and that the prophet even destroyed there ship.

Upset, the Disciples worked on building a new ship, and found something, a golden scarf, and informed the traitor disciple.

Long story short, the scarf indeed belongs to the prophet, and what made it goold is blood, blood made everything in that island gold. He tested this theory by killing one disciple, after proving it works, he killed the rest, and the island turned into gold.

Thats the summarized version of the legend, what happened to him after, the tales do not tell.
