As a lover of anime, and an American who can barely speak English, forget about any foreign languages, I seem to mostly watch dub anime. In my defense, its because I watch it on TV, where its dubbed for us Americans.

Now, anyone got any favorite voice actors, be they Japanese or American or whatever?

My faves are Brina Palencia, J. Michael Tatum, and Luci Christian.

Also, something I've been wondering about: in the anime Black Butler, Brina Palencia voices Ciel Phantomhive, a young man. In an early episode, Ciel disguised himself as a girl. So, did Brina, who already had to alter her voice to sound like a British boy, have to change it again to sound like a British boy in disguise? Or did she just talk normally?

I love Morgan Freeman's voice, but who doesn't. I also like George Clooney's, Clint Eastwood's, and Harrison Ford's voices. In terms of female voices, I like Katy Perry's voice (not really her music all that much, though it is pretty lemons catchy), though she's only ever voice acted in one movie I know of, The Smurfs, which I absolutely refuse to see. I also like Cameron Diaz's voice.

As far as Seiyūs go, I like Tetsuya Kakihara (Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail), Ayako Kawasumi (Fuu from Samurai Champloo), Show Hayami (Aizen from Bleach, Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun, and many others), and Aoi Tada (Ed from Cowboy Bebop).

For one, I didnt know Katy Perry was in The Smurfs...Also, yes, gotta love Morgan Freeman and Harrison Ford. I forgot to mention good ol' Johnny Yong Bosch, the english Ichigo! And of course, he who voices two of my all-time favorite characters, David Lodge (Kenpachi and Jiraiya)!

My favorites? Todd Habberkorn, Johnny Yong Bosch, Vic Mignogna, and Crispin Freeman. (:

If you want fantastic voice acting for Black Butler, the French dubbing is much better, in my opinion. Ciel's voice is a bit high-pitched, but Madam Red and Sebastian Michaelis have fantastic voice overs. Though, the fact he calls Ciel "Monsieur" seems off. It would be better as "Jeune Maître", in my opinion.

To answer your question, yes, Ciel's VA remained the same.

Man, thats getting confusing. A Japanese anime about a British...count, what is her?...dubbed in French. And how could I forget Vic Mignogna? Geez...Ive actually decided that if I ever meet him, Im going to ask him to have a meltdown about something, because its so funny on the show. ^^
