Appearance: Katana has always been seen with the standard Shinigami Attire with the Haori outfit along with iron plated gloves since his time as a recruit. Under his uniform, he is seen with a black T-shirt with white stripes in the middle of the sleeves. On his arms he wears black sleeves (which he presumably cut out from his shirt) with metal arm protectors over them. He also has leather straps around his back and chest and his families White Pressure Blade is kept in a small holder out in the back. He appears to wear the same type of outfit as a child sometimes. His pants are his hakama. His personality is further emphasised by his generally lazy expression, aloof manner, relaxed voice, and minimalist attitude. In serious situations, however, he is shown to have a very stern and intense look. He is also seen with a black chained necklace around his neck. He is a tall, fit ninja, is characterised by his tall and spiky white hair, and his forehead protector regularly covering his scarred left eye.
Personality: Katana became more stern and serious following his father's death, following all the rules and scorning any who disobeyed them. However, as he got older, He is now more cheerful and shows greater concern for his team-mates and students, placing their safety over the successful completion of a mission, as well as believing that teamwork is essential to overall success as a team. He is also regularly late for appointments, making obvious excuses. Katana claims to have lost everyone who was close to him, causing some reluctance to allow others to get close to him. Of the people who are still alive, Katana is on the best terms with his students, although he is on good terms with almost everyone in the seireitei and rukongai.
Katana has a rather solitary and matter-of-fact attitude. His calm and detached demeanour has been called “cool, hip, and trendy” many times. Despite his increasingly growing reputation and prowess as a shinigami, has shown no signs of arrogance, and is rather modest about his abilities, as shown when he readily praises others for leaps in their combat abilities. When suggested by many for him to become Squad 2 Captain, Katana admitted that such a position was unfit for him, however he is now the squad 2 captain. His naturally calm attitude is used to his advantage in battle, as it becomes easier for him to maintain his composure to stay focused on the situation at hand, and ultimately notice everything around him. As a result, he can quickly adjust to any situation to make keen and thought-out decisions, allowing him to stay steps ahead of his opponents.

Katana was born to unknown parents. He has no memory of them whatsoever and was raised under the care of the head of a section in Rukongai. While being raised, he questioned who he was and why he has pure white hair. His foster father told him about how he came to be. He understood what he was told.
A Shinigami Is Born
At a young age, Katana was taught how to weild a sword. The sword he weilds now, is the sword he obtained as a child from his parents. He was noticed one day by a shinigami while he was out training. His spiritual pressure was on par with a vice captains, but he had no way of controling the power. He was offered a chance to join the academy, which he accepted, to help control his spiritual pressure.
The Academy
Katana spent 3 years in the academy, learning about Kido, Hado, Bakudo, Zanpakto, and many other things they had to offer. His best features was in his style in fighting and his speed. He was immediately named the Next In Line of Squad 2 due to his speed and his zanpakto abilities.
Where he's at now
Katana is being named the Squad 2 Captain. He has yet to make himself known to the others. Only a select few know of him as of now.

Zanpakuto Spirit Description: Inukiba has the appearance of a young, middle aged man. He wears a mask of a fox, colored white with red like stripes leading from the eyes up to the ears. He has a pitch black tail and wears a white cloak. Under his mask, it is unknown what he looks like.
Shikai
Shikai Release Phrase: Open your ears, Inukiba / Real Release: Kill my enemies, Inukiba
Released Appearance: Inukiba glows a bright red and splits into two blades. The two blades are colored red with the hilt being black in color.
Real Appearance - Inukiba turns into a black glove like item for his left and right hands. There are blades that can extend from the finger tips and have poison capabilities.

Bankai
Release Phrase: Shred them to pieces, Kageinukiba
Released Appearance: Katana gains a cloak colored black, a long black tail much like his zanpakto spirit. He wears a mask that is white in color with no design in the shape of a fox head. He wears the black gloves from his shikai but he can form larger blades to wield in battle.
