    I say yes, assuming that the male is gay, which would confirm my theory of the 'gay friend' : Guy always hanging out wiht girls without never having a sexual relation with anyone of them

    One male can not be just friends with every female and vise versa... But a guy can have female friends with no strings attached, just not all of them... I'm a straight guy, but last year (before I graduated from highschool) I had 5+ female friends that were simply just that, friends... I actualy had more female friends than guy friends at that time...

    So it's not impossible, but it can't be possible 100% of the time...

    Yes, it's possible. I have more male friends since birth.. I've some known them for a long time and I don't see anything happening aside from being friends XD Maybe because I'm like one of the guys
