My first words are my first thoughts.
Usually my thoughts:

"Did I wake up this morning?"
"Did I pet the cat this morning?"
"I can't remember if I used the restroom or not"

When we are half asleep we forget 3 minutes of our wake up time, so I usually have to remember something before then.
